How to Check Traffic Fines in Georgia: 5 Websites — Video Police, Protocols.ge, Tbilisi, Batumi and Kutaisi Parking
Georgia has no single website for all fines: cameras, the patrol police and city parking issue them in different systems. To be sure nothing is missed, check all five websites below — a car number is enough everywhere.
1. Video Police — videos.police.ge
Fines from Ministry of Internal Affairs cameras: speeding, running a red light, crossing into oncoming traffic, seat belts, using a phone while driving.
- Search by receipt number and the offender's personal number, or by the vehicle registration certificate number and plate number.
- For each violation you can view the camera photo or video.
- There is an English version (the Eng button).
- The website opens only from a Georgian internet connection — a local SIM card or Wi-Fi in Georgia.
2. Protocols — protocols.ge
Tickets issued on the spot by officers rather than cameras. It collects tickets from several agencies at once:
- the Patrol Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- the Tbilisi Transport and Urban Development Agency;
- the Department of Environmental Supervision;
- the Batumi Municipal Inspection.
Search by offender or by vehicle (plate number). Video Police itself refers to this site for fines issued by "other agencies".
3. Tbilisi Parking — parking.tbilisi.gov.ge
The Tbilisi Parking service: parking passes, zone parking and parking fines in Tbilisi.
- The "ჯარიმები" (fines) tab — search by car number.
- There is a separate checkbox for transit and foreign plates.
- You can also buy a pass there to avoid parking fines. More on the rules — parking in Tbilisi.
4. Batumi Parking — batumitransport.ge
The Batumi Autotransport website: parking passes and parking fines in Batumi.
- The "ჯარიმები" (fines) tab — search by car number.
- Passenger car pass: 1 day — 10 GEL, 7 days — 20, 30 days — 30, 182 days — 45, one year — 60 GEL.
- The pass is linked to the car number, so no ticket behind the windscreen is needed. More — parking in Batumi.
5. Kutaisi Parking — parkingservice.ge
The website of Parking Service LLC, which runs paid parking in Kutaisi.
- "Published fines" (გამოქვეყნებული ჯარიმები) — fine receipts that could not be handed to the driver. A receipt counts as delivered 30 days after it is published, so be sure to check this section.
- "Payment" (გადახდა) — enter the plate number to pay for parking.
- There are English and Russian versions; phone 0431 310 310. Where to park in the city — parking in Kutaisi.
How to pay
Pay a fine on the website where you found it, through TBC Pay and BOG Pay terminals and apps, or at any bank in Georgia. Pay on time: overdue fines grow, and unpaid fines can cause problems on your next entry into the country.
If you drive a rental car
- Fines during the rental are paid by the driver — this is set out in the rental agreement.
- The car number is in your agreement: check all 5 websites before returning the car to close everything at once.
- Camera fines sometimes appear with a delay — if something arrives later, we will message you with the receipt number.
- To avoid fines altogether, keep to the posted speed limits and don't park where it's prohibited. The main rules and fine amounts are in our guide driving rules and fines in Georgia.
