Who we are
Cartome is a car rental company in Georgia (office: 10th Angisa Lane 3, Batumi). Contact for any privacy request: info@cartome.ge, WhatsApp/Telegram +995 591 955 055.
What data we collect
- Booking data (website form, partner apps and integrations via our API): full name of the driver, date of birth (to check the minimum age of 21), phone, e-mail, optional flight number, chosen car, dates and pickup/return points.
- Rental contract data (only if you fill in the documents form): passport and driving licence details and photos, needed to prepare the rental agreement.
- Technical data: IP address, browser, pages visited — via server logs and analytics (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica).
We never ask for card details or passwords online. Through partner apps and integrations we receive only the booking fields listed above.
Why we use it
To create and confirm your booking, send the voucher and contract, contact you about pickup and return, comply with Georgian law, and to measure and improve the website.
Cookies
We use cookies to remember your language and booking form, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Yandex Metrica) to understand how the website is used. You can decline analytics cookies in the notice at the bottom of the page or by clearing cookies in your browser; the website keeps working fully.
Who receives it
We do not sell your data. It is processed only by services we use to run the rental: our booking system (RentProg), Telegram (notifications to our managers), Brevo (e-mail delivery), our hosting provider, and analytics services for technical data. Data may be disclosed to authorities only when Georgian law requires it.
How long we keep it
Booking and contract data are kept for the duration of the rental and afterwards as long as required by Georgian law (accounting, traffic fines and insurance claims). Document photos are deleted on request once the rental is closed. Analytics data is kept according to the analytics providers' settings.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent — write to info@cartome.ge or WhatsApp +995 591 955 055. We reply within 30 days.
Partner apps and integrations
When you book through a third-party app connected to our API, the app sends us only the booking fields you confirmed. The booking is created only after your explicit confirmation.
