Where to pick it up
The convertible is based in Batumi: office pickup is free, Batumi airport or your hotel — $20. Delivery to Kutaisi is $60 and to Tbilisi $100; for rentals of 7+ days delivery is free. More: car rental in Batumi.
Where to drive it
- Batumi — Gonio — Sarpi — Gonio fortress and the Kvariati and Sarpi beaches by the Turkish border.
- Botanical Garden and Green Cape — a coastal road above the sea with viewpoints.
- North along the coast — Chakvi, Kobuleti, Shekvetili and Maltakva beach near Poti.
- Batumi at night — the seafront, the New Boulevard and the city lights.
Ready-made routes with stops are in routes.
When a convertible is not the best choice
- Mountains and gravel: for Svaneti (Mestia — Ushguli), Kazbegi in snow and mountain Adjara, take an AWD crossover.
- Lots of luggage: the boot fits a medium suitcase and a couple of bags.
- More than three people — the back seat is tight for long drives.
Tips
- Best season: May to October. In July and August midday is hot — open the roof in the morning and towards sunset.
- Bring sunscreen and a hat — you burn faster in an open car than you think.
- There is one convertible in the fleet, so book early in summer.
